Contract Attorney

This is a Contract Attorney position requiring some in office participation in our Lower Queen Anne office in Seattle, WA but with some flexibility for remote work if so desired. We are a very busy firm with a lot of trials and are in need of an energetic self starter for our team to assist with legal briefing, trial preparation and the full scope of tasks associated with litigation.

The Contract Attorney will work on specific cases with a partner but depending on desire, skill set and initiative this position could lead to growth within the firm. The role would definitely involve strong legal research skills and excellent persuasive writing, drafting pleading and motions and preparing and/or attending depositions. The desire to collaborate with the legal team on strategy and solutions for our clients is a pivotal trait that we are looking for.

We are open to an individual who does not want a full-time position.

• Expertise in legal research and writing
• Strong oratory skills and rhetorical eloquence
• Proven ability in motion practice
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar membership
• Experience in litigation preferably in practice minimum 3-5 years
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
