Personal Injury Attorney; Of Counsel​/Fully Remote

Emran Law Firm is a growing, multi-practice California law firm with a strong plaintiff-side practice focused on litigation-driven cases. We handle matters from intake through trial and pride ourselves on disciplined case strategy, trial readiness, and strong client advocacy.

We are seeking an experienced plaintiff-side Personal Injury attorney to join the firm in an Of Counsel capacity. This role is designed to provide advice in strategic positioning, helping drive results in higher-value matters, without the demands of a full trial calendar or firm management responsibilities.

This is a fully remote position.

This position focuses on case oversight, legal strategy, litigation oversight and trial support, rather than high-volume litigation. You will work closely with firm leadership, attorneys, and case managers to ensure matters are progressing properly and clients are well-served.

• Review and assess personal injury case statuses across the case lifecycle
• Analyze liability, damages, and litigation posture
• Review and interpret medical records and billing
• Advise and assist firm attorneys on trial-first strategy and case positioning
• Evaluate liability, damages, and evidentiary strength with a trial lens
• Provide strategic guidance on settlement versus trial
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff to improve case outcomes

This is a fully remote, Of Counsel position with a high degree of flexibility. There is no set daily schedule
. Work is structured around case needs, deadlines, and strategic collaboration rather than fixed hours or billable targets. Attorneys in this role are trusted to manage their time independently while remaining responsive, communicative, and engaged. This position is well-suited for a seasoned trial attorney seeking meaningful involvement in strong cases without a traditional full-time litigation schedule.

• Minimum 3 years of plaintiff-side personal injury experience
• 5+ years strongly preferred
• Demonstrated trial-first litigation mindset
• Significant experience with moderate- to high-value injury cases
• Strong ability to analyze medical records, damages, and causation
• Trial preparation experience required (first-chair or second-chair experience preferred)
• Excellent judgment, communication, and strategic thinking skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
