Family Law Associate Attorney (Menlo Park or San Ramon)
FLICKER KERIN, LLP has an opening in our Menlo Park or San Ramon office for a full-time family law attorney (office location determined by candidate’s preference). We offer a flexible work setup, with attorneys primarily working from home and in the office one day, preferably two days, and as needed for client meetings, deadlines, and staff management. Responsibilities- Receive assignments from multiple partners, effectively prioritize tasks, and manage multiple assignments simultaneously to meet deadlines.
- Independently make court appearances and manage family law hearings on behalf of clients.
- Work autonomously and collaboratively with paralegals, law clerks, fellow attorneys, and administrative staff.
- Communicate clearly, skillfully, and discreetly with clients, Opposing Counsel, experts, consultants, etc.
- Must be licensed to practice law in California and should have completed 3 to 7 years of licensed family law experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required. Experience with Xspouse, Clio, Lawyaw, and Lawgic is preferred.
- Candidates must possess excellent research skills and comfort with numerous research tools (West Law, Attorney’s Briefcase, online resources, and hardcover reference materials).
- Candidate should possess excellent writing skills to draft motions, pleadings, letters, memos, and other legal documents.
- ates are expected to work during the firm’s regular business hours, 5 days per week, and be available for additional work when required by case load.
