Senior Paralegal

We re looking for an experienced debt recovery paralegal to join a friendly and welcoming legal firm on a permanent basis. This can either be a hybrid role with travel to their office in Redditch or a fully remote role.

Their Commercial Debt Recovery team plays a vital role in managing pre-legal matters and recovering overdue business-to-business debts. Act as a primary point of contact for clients, building trusted professional relationships and gaining a clear understanding of their commercial objectives.

Manage a high-volume caseload of pre-legal debt recovery matters, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to deadlines.

Handle incoming calls and correspondence from debtors, clients, courts, and third-party service providers. Deliver clear, professional communication and provide regular updates and reports to clients. Work closely with an experienced legal team, sharing knowledge and best practice. Develop your understanding of debt recovery, litigation, and enforcement through hands-on experience and ongoing learning.

• A solid understanding of the debt recovery process, including exposure to litigation and enforcement procedures
• At least 2 years in a similar position
• Confidence using case management systemsi>
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Previous experience in a commercial environment

• A professional and confident telephone manner, with the ability to negotiate effectively
