Role DescriptionThis is a contract-based consultancy role for a Consultant Property Solicitor
, offering a hybrid working arrangement with access to our Surrey office.
The successful candidate will manage a varied residential property caseload, including:
- Client consultations and onboarding
- Drafting and reviewing contracts and legal documentation
- Managing conveyancing transactions from instruction to completion
- Ensuring compliance with property and real estate regulations
- Liaising with estate agents, brokers, lenders, and other stakeholders
- Providing clear, commercial, and practical legal advice to clients
We are particularly interested in candidates with an entrepreneurial mindset
, who are confident in building and nurturing relationships with estate agents and other referrers to generate new opportunities.
This role is offered on a consultancy basis, with the potential to become a permanent position in the future, depending on collaboration and mutual fit.
Qualifications- Minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE) as a Property Solicitor
- Strong experience in Property Law, including managing transactions and drafting contracts
- Excellent communication, client consultation, and relationship management skills
- High level of attention to detail, organization, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced problem-solving and decision-making skills with a focus on client satisfaction
- Qualified solicitor with a valid practising certificate
- Experience working in a consultancy model is a plus
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment, balancing in-office and remote work
