Billing Coordinator

Position: Billing Coordinator (Permanent)
My client is a rapidly growing law firm based in Manchester. Due to continued growth of the business, they are recruiting a Legal Billings Coordinator on a permanent basis into their fast-paced and expanding finance function. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced legal billing professional to join a modern, award-winning firm with a strong culture and international footprint.

As a Legal Billings Coordinator, you will be responsible for the end-to-end billing process, including drafting sales ledger invoices in line with firm procedures and SRA regulations. You will handle billing queries from fee earners, manage general sales ledger enquiries, ensure SLAs are met, and proactively chase bills awaiting approval. You will also provide guidance to Partners on billing processes, prepare reconciliations and reports, and support the wider finance team with ad-hoc requests.

This role will suit a candidate with experience in legal billing role in a busy, deadline-driven environment. The successful candidate will be organised, detail-oriented, commercially minded, and confident building relationships with stakeholders across the business.
