Assistant General Counsel - Elite Litigation Boutique - Remote

An elite, nationally recognized litigation boutique is seeking an Assistant General Counsel to support firmwide ethics, risk management, and internal legal matters. This is a non-billable, high-trust role working closely with firm leadership on conflicts, professional responsibility, and broader GC-level issues.

The role will focus on complex conflicts analysis (laterals, new matters, ongoing representations), drafting conflict waivers, advising on ethical obligations, reviewing outside counsel guidelines, and supporting firm policies, training, and compliance. Over time, the position will grow into a broader internal GC function.

This opportunity is well-suited for a senior‑level attorney (6+ years) with strong law firm experience and excellent judgment. Direct experience in conflicts, risk management, or a law firm GC office is strongly preferred. This is a great opportunity for attorneys currently in large‑firm risk or conflicts roles who feel limited in scope and are seeking greater breadth and autonomy.

• Non‑billable, strategic internal role
• ~$200K base + bonus
• Fully remote (California Bar required)
