Our client is seeking a Private Immigration Solicitor to join their established team based in East London. This is an excellent opportunity for a Private Immigration Solicitor to handle a varied and complex caseload including nationality, asylum and immigration matters, with a strong focus on appeals work. The role offers a salary of c £40,000, along with a benefits package, ongoing training, and long-term career progression.

My client is a well-established law firm with a strong reputation in private immigration work. The firm is known for handling complex and sensitive cases and provides a supportive working environment with experienced supervision and clear progression opportunities.

• Manage a full private immigration caseload from instruction to conclusion
• Handle complex immigration applications, including nationality and asylum matters
• Prepare and conduct immigration appeals
• Draft detailed representations, witness statements and legal submissions
• Advise clients on immigration options, risks and outcomes
• Liaise with courts, tribunals, Home Office and counsel as required
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements

• Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or experienced Immigration Caseworker
• Immigration & Asylum Accreditation (would be a benefit)
• Strong experience handling complex immigration and asylum cases
• Appeals experience essential
• Excellent drafting, advocacy and client care skills
• Ability to manage caseload independently in a fast-paced environment
