Law Clerk - Immigration Law- Semester; Remote

Our clients often have no immigration documents even though they have mixed-immigration status families and years of living in the United States. We are looking for a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as a law clerk intern/extern. This experience will include assisting attorneys with Master Hearings and Individual Hearings, preparing prehearing briefs, legal memoranda and briefs, interviewing clients and drafting affidavits, reviewing immigration forms with clients, assisting with case summaries to be submitted to USCIS for waiver cases, and more.

Everything will be under senior attorney supervision with positive feedback to create a career-building experience. For those law schools that offer externships with private law firms, an application for externship credits will be supported. This position could be on-site, hybrid, or remote.

• Completed first year of law school.
• Interested in immigration law.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
• 10-20 hours per week with flexibility for exam schedules and schoolwork.
