Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an  Associate Lawyer  based in South Surrey, BC, with the opportunity for partial remote work. The Associate Lawyer will handle litigation cases, provide legal advice, represent clients in court, and manage negotiation processes to achieve favorable outcomes. Responsibilities also include conducting legal research, preparing legal documents, and providing counsel on various legal issues.

Qualifications

Proficiency in law, including strong legal analysis and case strategy development.

Experience with providing legal advice and solving complex legal issues.

Familiarity with court procedures and litigation processes.

Strong negotiation skills to achieve favorable settlements and resolutions.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively, both remotely and in-office.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to independently manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks efficiently.

Licensed to practice law in British Columbia.

Experience in commercial or corporate litigation is considered an asset.

Minimum of  1 year of experience  in litigation or a relevant practice area.
