Salary $150,000 - $200,000 per year

These Partners came from BIG LAW and formed their own firm in the last year and are growing fast with a lot of work that needs help. This is a full-time hybrid role for an Associate Attorney in San Diego, CA, with flexibility for remote work.

Our client is a team of experienced civil litigators with over 50 years of combined experience in defending clients at every stage of the litigation process.

• Work on civil litigation defense matters, including managing matters from inception through resolution.
• Take depositions, draft and argue motions, and conduct legal research.
• Prepare and organize case files; coordinate with clients and team members; maintain professional standards and ethics.
• Collaborate with partners and staff in a fast-paced environment to support firm growth.

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Active member of the State Bar of California, and in good standing
• 2-5 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on civil litigation (insurance defense a plus)
• Proficiency in legal research software, including Westlaw, and a willingness to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field
• Experience in taking depositions, drafting and arguing motions and legal research
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• A strong understanding of legal procedures and the ability to apply them in a variety of contexts
• A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct
• Trial experience not required, but is a plus
