Job Overview:
Our client is located in Midtown Toronto. We are looking for a real estate lawyer with residential and commercial real estate experience to join the team and support the firm's growing Real Estate and Wills/Estate practice.

• Handling all aspects of real estate transactions
• Review complex loan commitments and documents
• Assist with overflow real estate files
• Liaise with clients, lawyers, and brokers
• Order and negotiate title insurance policies
• Attend closings, review title searches, register transactions and documents on Teraview, meet with clients to review documentation, prepare reporting letters, and prepare other transactional documents
• Supervise and assist junior and senior law clerks handling high volume of residential and refinance, purchase and sale transactions; keep track of dates
• Draft Wills, POAs, and estate planning documents
• Assist with probate and estate administration

• Licensed and in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
• LL.B. or J.D. from an accredited law school
• Minimum of 2 years experience in Residential/Commercial Real Estate law
• Estate Planning and Administration experience is a bonus
• Strong research and drafting skills with keen attention to detail
• Clear and confident communication with clients
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage files
• Desire to work in a positive, team-first environment
