We're a fast-paced and growing personal injury law firm seeking an experienced Law & Motion Attorney to handle all aspects of our law and motion practice. You'll play a crucial role in shaping the legal arguments that drive our cases forward, working closely with our litigation team to achieve the best possible outcomes for our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Drafting, filing, and arguing a wide range of motions, including:
• Motions for summary judgment/adjudication
• Demurrers
• Motions to strike
• Discovery motions
• Motions for new trial
• Conducting in-depth legal research and analysis.
• Developing persuasive legal arguments and strategies.
• Preparing detailed memorandums, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Attending court hearings and presenting oral arguments.
• Collaborating with trial attorneys on case strategy and development.
• Staying current on relevant case law and statutory changes.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing with the State Bar.
• 7+ years of experience specifically in law and motion practice within personal injury or premises liability.
• Proven track record of drafting successful motions and compelling legal arguments.
• Exceptional legal research and writing skills are a must.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
• Excellent oral advocacy and courtroom presence.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and work effectively under pressure.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.

The first 6 months will be in office training, and afterwards this position will turn into a fully remote position. Our client expects this candidate to be self-driven and able to complete work on their own.
