Litigation Attorney

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Litigation Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to client advocacy and possess solid experience across all phases of litigation, including legal research, discovery, case management, and courtroom representation. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated matters in a collaborative and supportive environment.

• Represent clients in court proceedings, including trials, hearings, depositions, and mediations
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and analyze case law to develop effective litigation strategies
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation-related documents
• Provide strategic legal advice and counsel to clients on a variety of legal issues
• Negotiate settlements and resolutions on behalf of clients
• Manage and prioritize an active caseload while meeting deadlines and client expectations
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and staff to develop and execute case strategies

• 2-6 years of litigation experience
• Active license to practice law in California
• Strong academic credentials
• Experience in employment law and general business litigation preferred
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple matters

• Origination Bonus: 15% of monthly amounts collected on originated matters

  Annual goal of 1,750 hours
• Production Bonus:
  • 5% of base salary at 1,800 billable hours
  • Additional bonus equal to 40% of the billing rate for each billable hour above 1,800
