The Opportunity: The TJX Companies, Inc. has an opportunity for a highly qualified, motivated, collaborative attorney to become part of the TJX Legal Department in our high-volume Litigation & Regulatory practice area. The role is an excellent opportunity to become a member of a sophisticated and collegial legal department and directly support our business’ complex, dynamic, global operations. This is a hybrid position based in our Framingham, MA offices.
What You Will Do: Work closely with TJX lawyers and paralegals, as well as with external counsel to handle a variety of matters which may include:
- California’s Proposition 65
- Third-party subpoena responses
- Vendor payment matters, including liens and disputes
- State and local regulatory matters relating to the products we sell and our operations
- Collaborate on special projects relating to other litigation and compliance topics, as the need arises
Who We Are Looking For:
- JD and at least 3 years of litigation experience within a law firm, in-house legal department, or government entity
- Strong academic credentials
- Comfort working both collaboratively and independently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle multiple matters simultaneously and efficiently, with an eye toward prioritization, attention to detail and follow-up
- Experience providing legal advice that is practical as well as legally sound
- Ability to connect and develop positive relationships with a range of business stakeholders
- Excellent research skills as well as verbal and written communication skills
- Admitted to practice law in Massachusetts

This position has a starting salary range of $ to $ per year. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual incentive as well as long-term incentives.
