Position Overview

We're seeking an experienced Intellectual Property Attorney to join our team on a contract basis. The role focuses on trademark prosecution, copyright protection, and IP portfolio management for innovative technology companies and digital-first businesses. Our clients range from emerging startups to established technology companies seeking sophisticated IP protection strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage trademark clearance, filing, and prosecution process
• Handle USPTO office actions and TTAB proceedings
• Develop comprehensive brand protection strategies
• Manage copyright registrations for software and digital content
• Implement trade secret protection protocols
• Monitor and enforce IP rights across digital platforms
• Direct international trademark strategy
• Oversee domain name and social media protection
• Develop IP portfolio management strategies

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active attorney license in good standing
• 5+ years of intellectual property law experience
• USPTO registration preferred
• Big Law training/experience strongly preferred
• Experience with trademark prosecution and portfolio management
• Demonstrated experience in technology sector IP protection
• Background in digital brand protection and enforcement
• Knowledge of international IP strategy
