Private Equity Associate Attorney

Direct Counsel is seeking a Private Equity Associate Attorney to join a leading Am Law firm with a nationally recognized Corporate practice. This is an opportunity to advise strategic buyers, sellers, and private equity firms on sophisticated M&A transactions in a fast-growing market.

• 4–7 years of private equity and / or M&A experience at a top-tier corporate law firm
• Demonstrated experience managing significant private equity or M&A deals
• Superior academic credentials and strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills
• Admitted to practice in the jurisdiction where applying

• Advise clients on complex mergers, acquisitions, investments, and other private equity transactions
• Serve as a key contact on deal teams, managing work streams and contributing to client strategy
• Collaborate with colleagues across offices and disciplines in a supportive, team-oriented environment

• Strong business judgment and attention to detail
• Excellent writing, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Expected base salary range : $310,000 – $420,000 , commensurate with experience and location
