Attorney Candidate.
- Represent clients in criminal defense cases, ensuring their rights are protected and their voices are heard.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to build strong, evidence-based defense strategies.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their unique situations and provide personalized legal advice.
- Prepare and file legal documents, motions, and briefs with precision and attention to detail.
- Negotiate with prosecutors to seek favorable plea deals or dismissals when appropriate.
- Advocate for clients in court, presenting compelling arguments and cross-examining witnesses effectively.
- Stay updated on changes in criminal law and legal precedents to maintain a competitive edge in defense strategies.
- JD degree and active MN law license in good standing.
- 1+ year of criminal defense or related experience.
- Strong research, writing, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to be an exceptional colleague/team player.
- A client-first mindset with high emotional intelligence.
$80,000 - $120,000 yearly
