Our client – full-service litigation practice with strong regional presence – is seeking a CT or MA-barred research-focused contract attorney to support complex commercial and consumer finance matters on a short-term (two week) basis. This fully remote role is ideal for an attorney with a bit of experience (4 years ideal) who may be open to a potentially longer duration arrangement

Responsibilities include:

* Drafting memoranda, motions, and briefs for federal and state court matters
* Supporting appellate strategy and litigation
* Conducting in-depth legal research on financial institution operations, insurance coverage disputes, and tort liability
* Assisting with class action defense and enterprise risk litigation

Ideal candidates will have:
* Law review or journal experience
* Exposure to appellate practice or clerkship experience
* Strong analytical and writing skills
* Interest in growing within a national litigation practice
* Comfortability with two-week duration (potentially longer)
