Position Overview
This is a full-time associate attorney position offering hands-on litigation experience, direct client contact, and personalized mentorship in a specialized practice area.
Attorneys in this role will work closely with experienced probate litigators and gain exposure to all stages of litigation, including case strategy, discovery, depositions, hearings, and trial preparation.
The position is primarily in-office to support collaboration and training, with some flexibility for remote work

Key Responsibilities- Represent beneficiaries, trustees, personal representatives, and other parties in matters arising under A.R.S. Titles 14, 36, and 46
- Handle litigation involving guardian ships, conservatorships, will and trust contests, fiduciary misconduct, elder abuse, neglect, and financial exploitation
- Advise clients on legal risks, strategy, and case progression
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and court filings
- Conduct legal research and apply findings to complex factual situations
- Participate in depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials
- Prepare cases for settlement, mediation, or trial
- Communicate proactively with clients regarding case status and expectations
- Track deadlines and comply with court and internal procedures
- Collaborate closely with attorneys and staff while taking increasing ownership of cases
- 0–4 years of experience in civil litigation
- (Probate, trust, or estate litigation preferred; commercial, real estate, or contract litigation experience welcome)
- Active Arizona law license in good standing
- Strong legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Professional judgment, integrity, and compassion for clients facing sensitive disputes
- Interest in developing a long-term practice in probate and trust litigation
