Location

Fully remote position open to candidates licensed and authorized to work anywhere in the U.S.

Note

This role requires permanent U.S. work authorization and active bar membership. Candidates must have proven federal immigration litigation experience, including APA, mandamus, or habeas matters.

Job Description
  • Handle federal immigration litigation matters from start to finish
  • Draft and file federal complaints, motions, briefs, and petitions
  • Litigate APA challenges for unreasonable delays and wrongful denials
  • Bring mandamus actions to compel agency action
  • File habeas corpus petitions challenging unlawful detention
  • Handle circuit petitions for review and district court actions
  • Draft internal legal opinion memos to support administrative-level attorneys
  • Conduct advanced legal research on complex immigration and crimmigration issues
  • Develop litigation strategies that strengthen administrative and federal cases
Qualifications
  • J.D. from an accredited law school with active bar membership in at least one U.S. state
  • 3+ years of federal immigration litigation experience
  • Demonstrated experience with APA, mandamus, and/or habeas actions
  • Strong federal legal research and writing skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage cases remotely
  • Commitment to high ethical standards and client advocacy
