This position is intended for an attorney with real, hands-on employment litigation experience who is ready to take ownership of matters in a high-volume, sophisticated practice.
The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Defend employers in employment litigation matters, including single-plaintiff and class or collective actions
- Handle matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour, and restrictive covenants

- Take ownership of litigation tasks while collaborating closely with partners and team members
- Manage multiple active matters in a fast-paced environment
- Provide practical, litigation-focused guidance to employer clients as issues arise
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of true employment litigation experience
- Exposure to class or collective action litigation valued
- Strong legal writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
- Ability to work independently while functioning effectively within a team
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active admission to the Washington State Bar
Preferred Background
- A mix of employment litigation and other civil litigation acceptable if employment litigation is substantive
- Plaintiff-side candidates may be considered, subject to conflicts review
- No industry-specific background required
- Employee benefits or ERISA experience not required
- Fully onsite, in-office role in Seattle
- Daily collaboration with attorneys and litigation teams
- Not a hybrid or remote position
Compensation
- Base salary range of $170,000 to $195,000
- Eligibility for performance-based bonuses
- Final compensation determined based on experience, seniority, and qualifications
- Medical, dental, and vision coverage
- Paid time off and paid parental leave
- 401(k) with profit sharing
- Life insurance, long-term disability, and employee assistance program
- Optional benefits including commuter programs and pet insurance
Why This Role
- Employment law is a core practice, not a secondary offering
- Consistent litigation workflow and long-term demand
- Meaningful responsibility and substantive case ownership
- Opportunity to deepen experience in both single-plaintiff and class litigation
- Collegial, professional environment with high expectations and strong support
