Associate Attorney

Overview

Trueline's client, a forward-thinking law firm with a strong technology foundation, is seeking a Associate Attorney to join their Honolulu office. This role focuses on residential real estate litigation, with a particular emphasis on judicial foreclosure matters. It’s an excellent opportunity for a licensed attorney looking to grow their litigation experience in a collaborative, tech-enabled legal environment.

• Manage foreclosure and real estate litigation cases from start to finish
• Prepare legal analyses and advise clients on strategy and risk
• Draft pleadings and respond to motions
• Represent clients in court hearings, both in-person and telephonic
• Support other litigation and transactional matters as needed
• Work part-time remotely after completing initial in-office training

• JD from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in Hawaii
• At least 1 year of legal experience, preferably in litigation, real estate, or mortgage law
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to handle a high-volume caseload efficiently
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort learning client systems

• Prior experience with judicial foreclosures or consumer finance litigation
• Familiarity with remote work tools and tech-enabled workflows
• A proactive mindset and strong problem-solving abilities
