Overview
Trueline's client, a forward-thinking law firm with a strong technology foundation, is seeking a Associate Attorney to join their Honolulu office. This role focuses on residential real estate litigation, with a particular emphasis on judicial foreclosure matters. It’s an excellent opportunity for a licensed attorney looking to grow their litigation experience in a collaborative, tech-enabled legal environment.
What You'll Do as the Associate Attorney- Manage foreclosure and real estate litigation cases from start to finish
- Prepare legal analyses and advise clients on strategy and risk
- Draft pleadings and respond to motions
- Represent clients in court hearings, both in-person and telephonic
- Support other litigation and transactional matters as needed
- Work part-time remotely after completing initial in-office training
- JD from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in Hawaii
- At least 1 year of legal experience, preferably in litigation, real estate, or mortgage law
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle a high-volume caseload efficiently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort learning client systems
- Prior experience with judicial foreclosures or consumer finance litigation
- Familiarity with remote work tools and tech-enabled workflows
- A proactive mindset and strong problem-solving abilities
