Entry Level Associate Attorney

Fiscella Law is an Illinois-based criminal defense law firm representing clients in DUI, criminal charges, traffic offenses, expungements and sealing, and Secretary of State license hearings.

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Entry Level Associate Attorney based in the Greater Chicago Area, allowing for a mix of in-office and remote work. The associate will assist with providing legal advice, conducting in-depth legal research, drafting legal documents, and representing clients in legal matters, particularly in labor and employment law cases. The role also involves negotiation and collaboration on client cases, ensuring a high standard of ethical and professional conduct while meeting deadlines and managing multiple tasks.

• Solid foundational knowledge or interest in criminal law
• Strong skills in providing Legal Advice and conducting thorough Research
• Capability in effective Negotiation and client advocacy
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to handle multiple cases
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including legal documentation
• Active law license in the state of Illinois
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
• Prior internship or clerkship in a legal setting preferred. Assistant States Attorney or Public Defender experience strongly preferred.
