Overview
Our client is seeking an Associate-level Insurance Coverage Attorney with 3+ years of post-qualification experience to join their global insurance practice. The role involves managing and assisting with contentious and non-contentious insurance coverage matters, with a focus on complex and third-party liability insurance coverage.
This position offers flexibility to work a hybrid schedule from Illinois, New York, Tennessee, or Florida. Our client is also open to a candidate working remotely if they reside within the Eastern or Central time zones and have the required experience.
- Handle all phases of insurance coverage matters, including litigation.
- Conduct legal research and draft high-quality written work.
- Provide advice on complex and third-party liability insurance coverage issues.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
- Collaborate with team members across multiple jurisdictions.
- Travel as needed for client or case-related matters.
- Juris Doctor (JD) and active license to practice law in the U.S.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in insurance coverage matters.
- Strong academic credentials.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage cases independently and work collaboratively.
- Experience with both contentious and non-contentious insurance coverage matters.
- Familiarity with complex and third-party liability insurance coverage.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote or hybrid environment.
Candidates can be licensed in any U.S. state, with a preference for those admitted in Illinois, New York, Tennessee, or Florida. Remote work is permitted as long as the attorney lives in an Eastern or Central time zone state, which includes all states in those two time zones.
