Remote - Attorney

We are seeking an experienced Construction Defect Attorney to join a growing California-based practice in a fully remote capacity
. This role is ideal for an attorney who is confident managing construction defect matters independently while collaborating with a distributed legal team.

• Defend construction defect matters from inception through resolution
• Handle all phases of litigation, including:
• Case intake and strategy development
• Motion practice (demurrers, MSJs, discovery motions)
• Expert coordination and case management
• Mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and legal correspondence
• Manage communications with clients, co-counsel, experts, and insurers
• Appear for depositions, mediations, and court hearings (remote and occasional in-person as required)
• Maintain accurate billing and case documentation

• 3+ years of experience handling construction defect/insurance defense matters
• Strong knowledge of California civil procedure and construction defect law
• Experience representing developers, contractors, subcontractors, or insurers is a plus
• Ability to manage cases autonomously in a remote environment
• Strong writing, analytical, and organizational skills

The annual salary for this position is between $140,000 – $180,000
. The firm may be open to the higher end of the range for the right candidate. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
