Complex Litigation Attorney; Remote, Engagement

Overview

Are you a strong commercial litigation attorney who would like the opportunity to participate in sophisticated product liability work with an Am Law team while maintaining a schedule that works for you? Latitude is seeking litigation attorneys with strong complex commercial litigation experience to work with our Am Law client on an ongoing engagement basis. Successful candidates will have excellent pretrial skills, including conducting and responding to discovery, legal research and writing, and significant experience preparing legal pleadings, motions and deficiency letters.

This role is fully remote with some travel potentially required.

• 5+ years of complex commercial litigation experience, ability to work with little supervision
• Capable and confident with discovery activities, including taking basic depositions and drafting responses and motions, as well as researching legal issues and writing briefs.
• Prior experience working at a full-service Am Law firm or a sophisticated litigation boutique
• Excellent academic credentials
• Licensed to practice law and in good standing in state of residence (California licensing is a bonus)
• Outstanding references

The annualized compensation for this position ranges from $165,000 to $200,000 or more. Pay is based on numerous factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials and location. In addition to salary, Latitude Engaged Professionals are W2 employees of Latitude and are eligible for full benefits when working in roles for 20 hours per week, including a Qualified 401k plan.
