• Review, draft, negotiate, and interpret a wide range of technology and commercial contracts, including SaaS agreements and vendor contracts
• Advise sales and partnership teams on legal implications, risks, and opportunities associated with commercial structures
• Utilize knowledge of legal issues relating to IP, data use, privacy, and labor and employment law
• Prepare, maintain, and improve template agreements, playbooks, and operational guidance
• Develop processes to ensure ongoing compliance with contractual commitments

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant legal experience, preferably supporting in-house early/mid-stage technology companies
• Extensive experience in drafting and negotiating complex agreements, particularly SaaS and strategic partnership agreements
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills, along with business acumen
• Excellent drafting skills and attention to detail

• Experience working in the energy industry
• Familiarity with Google Drive, Salesforce, Adobe PDF, Ironclad, and Docu Sign
• Ability to manage a diverse and complex workload in a fast-paced environment
