Responsibilities- Lead the residential conveyancing department, managing two full-time residential solicitors and overseeing the day-to-day running of the team.
- Maintain a pipeline of approximately 15 new matters per fee earner per month.
- Handle high-quality residential property work including transactions for high net worth clients currently handled at Partner level.
- Develop internal referral relationships and contribute to the strategic development of the firm.
- Office-based with the flexibility to work from home 1-2 days per week. Clear pathway to progress into the firm s management team.
The firm is seeking a qualified Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer with 8+ years PQE in residential property. The successful applicant will have strong technical expertise across the full range of residential conveyancing matters and will be confident supervising and mentoring other fee earners. You will demonstrate commercial awareness, a proactive leadership style and a genuine interest in contributing to the strategic development of the firm.
This opportunity would suit a Senior Residential Conveyancer looking to take the next step into a Head of Department position, or an existing department head seeking a stable, succession-planned role with long-term progression into senior leadership.
