Litigation Associate

A leading national law firm’s Indianapolis office is seeking a motivated and experienced Litigation Associate to join its expanding practice. This role offers the opportunity to work within a highly regarded litigation team on complex and engaging matters from inception through final resolution. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on litigation experience and demonstrate strong intellectual curiosity, a solid work ethic, excellent writing skills, and a collaborative, client-focused approach.

Judicial clerkship experience is not required but is strongly preferred. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement, with a combination of in‑office and remote work depending on case needs and workload.

Qualifications:

• 3–5+ years of litigation experience
• Strong academic credentials
• Exceptional writing, analytical, and communication skills
• A demonstrated commitment to teamwork and high-quality client service, including the ability to understand client objectives and develop creative solutions
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively and build consensus
• Experience managing litigation matters on a day-to-day basis, including drafting pleadings, propounding and responding to written discovery, collecting and analyzing client information, drafting and arguing substantive motions and brief(s), and taking or defending fact witness depositions with minimal supervision
• Licensed to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction
