Associate | Real Estate; Development | PQE

Location: Cheltenham (hybrid working available)

A well-established UK law firm is looking to recruit an experienced Real Estate Associate (4+ PQE) to join its growing Real Estate team based in Cheltenham.

This role offers the opportunity to work on high-quality, complex real estate matters typically
, while enjoying a supportive, collegiate environment in a regional office setting. The team undertakes a broad range of commercial real estate work with a particular focus on regeneration and residential-led development projects
.

You will advise a diverse client base including investors, developers, landowners and occupiers, working on matters such as:

• Regeneration and residential development acquisitions and disposals
• Strategic land and development projects
• Commercial landlord and tenant matters
• Investment and disposal transactions, including portfolio work

You will manage your own caseload with appropriate supervision, draft documentation with minimal instruction, and deliver clear, practical and commercially focused advice.

You will join an established real estate group with strong sector expertise and a reputation for a pragmatic, jargon-free approach. The role offers exposure to senior lawyers across the wider real estate practice and opportunities to build long-term client relationships.

The successful candidate is likely to:

• Be a qualified solicitor in England & Wales with 4+ years’ PQE
• Have solid experience in regeneration and residential development work
• Ideally have acted for house builders or developer clients
• Be confident running matters autonomously while contributing effectively to a team
• Demonstrate strong commercial awareness, organisation and time management
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills

• High-quality real estate work in a regional location
