Associate - Pensions; VA

Experience:

Commonwealth qualified lawyer with 2 - 4 years PQE and a strong background in pensions law

We are looking to recruit an ambitious and personable associate lawyer, specialising in pensions, into our prestigious Trust and Private Wealth team.

This role will be to support the pensions practice in our Guernsey and Jersey offices. The successful individual can be based in either Guernsey or Jersey and will be required to travel between the Islands.

We can alsoconsider remote working in the UK, ideally in the Southwest England or in regional areas of the UK.It is preferable that candidates are near enough transport routes to Jersey/Guernsey for travel purposes which will be required on occasion.

Duties include:

• Assisting with drafting and amending pension schemes
• Advising pension providers, trustees and employers on a range of pension issues
• Providing specialist pension support as part of Corporate Due Diligence exercises

Successful candidates will be qualified in a commonwealth jurisdiction and have between two to four year of post-qualified experience, and a strong background in pensions law.
