Job Summary
Defense Litigation Paralegal – 100% Remote. Our growing regional law firm seeks a highly organized, self‑starter to support personal injury and construction‑related cases. The successful candidate will be able to prioritize, collaborate, and manage pressure while working on complex litigation matters.
Key Responsibilities- Assist attorneys through all stages of litigation, from inception to trial.
- Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and prepare reports to support case preparation.
- Manage and organize large volumes of documents, including medical records, discovery items, and other case files.
- Coordinate and maintain timelines for court filings and case events.
- Assist with deposition and trial preparation, including document review.
- Communicate effectively with clients, court officials, and legal professionals.
- Minimum 5 years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in insurance defense and civil litigation.
- Paralegal degree or certificate from an accredited institution.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state court rules and procedures.
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with legal research tools and litigation support software.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
- Residency in Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, or Colorado.
- Full‑time position with competitive salary ($60,000 – $80,000 per year).
