Trial Attorney (Remote - Connecticut)

Allstate is seeking a Trial Attorney to serve as a frontline defense for insured and the Company across bodily injury, property damage, and other matters. The role combines litigation, arbitration, mediation, and client counsel.

The Trial Attorney will handle all aspects of insurance defense litigation from case assessment through trial and post‑trial motions.

• Manage insurance defense litigation from case assessment through trial and post‑trial motions.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Interview clients and witnesses.
• Represent the company in proceedings and handle initial client matters.
• Monitor law changes and advise the legal team.
• Participate in training and mentorship programs.

• Juris Doctor with active membership in good standing with the Connecticut State Bar.

• Early career experience in trial advocacy.
• Completed courses in legal research, writing, and analysis.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage case files and the discovery process.
• Effective client communication and record keeping.
• Knowledge of legal ethics and professional conduct.
• Negotiation skills for settlement discussions.
• Commutable distance to Connecticut courthouses (Stamford, Bridgeport, New Haven).
• Willingness to travel throughout Connecticut.

This position has no supervisory duties.

Client documentation, evidence gathering, litigation, legal research, legal writing, Torts, teamwork, and collaboration.

$110,000–$120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
