Role OverviewThis attorney will handle employment litigation matters end‑to‑end, with full responsibility for case strategy, discovery, motion practice, and settlement negotiations. The role is ideal for a litigator comfortable owning cases, discussing historical settlement results, and thriving in a performance‑driven environment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage employment litigation matters from intake through resolution
- Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and mediation briefs using cloud‑based platforms
- Take and defend depositions and argue motions as needed
- Drive case strategy and lead settlement negotiations independently
- Leverage AI tools and shared services to maximize efficiency and throughput
- Communicate directly with clients and deliver a high‑quality client experience
- Collaborate with a fully remote team of experienced employment litigators
- Active California Bar license in good standing (required)
- 3+ years of employment law experience (required)
- 3+ years of litigation experience total (required)
- Plaintiff‑side or defense background considered
- Demonstrated experience negotiating and settling cases
- Strong legal writing, analytical, and strategic thinking skills
- Comfortable discussing historical settlement results and fee generation
- Ability to thrive in a remote, performance‑driven environment
