A well-regarded boutique law firm is expanding its practice in North Carolina. It represents a major insurance company in bad faith and insurance defense litigation matters and seeks a REMOTE, contract attorney with 4 to 10+ years of relevant litigation experience
.
The attorney's experience should include drafting demand letters, propounding and responding to discovery, legal research, motion writing, and taking and defending depositions. Trial preparation and trial experience, as well as mediation experience, are beneficial but not required.
The firm prefers candidates who can work at least 25-30 hours per week
. Possible opportunity for full-time hours.
Generous hourly compensation of $65/hour to start, depending on experience.
A North Carolina bar license is required.
