Associate Litigation Attorney

We’re seeking an Associate Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic team at a reputable civil law firm based in the Riverside area. Our practice focuses on public entities, corporations, and insured individuals in general liability, common carrier litigation, employment litigation, and more. With offices in Riverside and Glendale, California, we represent clients in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, and San Bernardino Counties.

$130,000 – $200,000 per year

• Represent clients in all phases of civil defense litigation (businesses, personal injury, public entities, and individuals)
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Handle depositions, hearings, trials, and mediations
• Develop and implement defense strategies, negotiate settlements, and make court appearances
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a comprehensive defense strategy
• Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and advice on legal matters
• Ensure compliance with all legal standards and regulations

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
• Preferred experience in civil litigation at least 2 years
• Active member of the State Bar in good standing
• Strong knowledge of civil defense litigation and insurance defense procedures and practices
• Excellent negotiation, problem‑solving, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and cases while meeting strict deadlines
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently, but also function effectively as part of a team
• Strong advocacy skills in the courtroom
• Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite
