Litigation Attorney – Remote Job California Missouri USA,Law/Legal

Location: California

Our client, a prestigious, nationwide law firm dedicated to providing legal services to financial institutions, has an immediate need for an experienced Litigation Attorney to join their team in California.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of contested litigation related to mortgage servicing and foreclosure matters.

Handle pre-litigation cases and assist with clearing title to real property.

Analyze cases and advise clients on strategies.

Draft court pleadings and motions.

Attend hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and court appearances.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Key Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree and Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.

Member of the California State Bar, with all necessary licensing and continuing legal education requirements.

2-8 years of litigation experience in real estate or mortgage servicing preferred.

Ability to bill at least 1920 hours per year.

Knowledge of foreclosure processes is a plus.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent organizational and project management skills.

Ability to quickly identify and resolve problems.

Knowledge of rules of evidence and evidence introduction.

Knowledge of consumer protection statutes such as the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act is preferred.

Capacity to manage large caseloads effectively.
