Family Partner - Poole - 8+ Years PQE

Salary: £70,000 to £90,000 (depending on experience)
A well established and highly regarded law firm in the Dorset area is seeking a Senior Family Solicitor at Partner level to join its Family team in Poole. This opportunity has arisen due to the retirement of a long standing Partner and offers the chance to lead a high quality caseload while supervising a small, dedicated team.
The RoleYou’ll be responsible for managing a full caseload of family law matters, with a particular focus on:
- High value financial matrimonial cases
- General matrimonial matters
- Supervising and supporting a small team of lawyers and support staff
- Conducting advocacy and attending court hearings
- Managing client relationships and delivering high quality legal advice
- Attending local offices, client meetings, court hearings, and networking events
- Contributing to the growth and development of the Poole Family practice
- Working on site regularly, with the option to work from home one day per week
This role is suited to an experienced Family Solicitor with:
- 8+ years PQE with extensive experience in family law
- Strong expertise in high value financial and general matrimonial matters
- Significant advocacy experience and confidence attending court hearings
- Proven ability to supervise, mentor, and guide junior lawyers and support staff
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
- A proactive, professional, and client focused approach
- Confidence in promoting and developing the Family practice
- Willingness to travel locally as required
