Litigation Paralegal – Costa Mesa, CA

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team in Costa Mesa, CA. This is a HYBRID position with Tuesdays and Thursdays onsite and the remaining days remote/work from home.

Base Pay Range: $85,000.00/yr - $/yr

Responsibilities
  • Trial Preparation
    • Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, preparing witness lists, and creating trial notebooks.
    • Coordinate with experts and witnesses.
    • Assist with trial logistics and support during trial proceedings.
  • Pre-Trial Discovery
    • Assist with the discovery process, including drafting interrogatories, requests for production, and subpoenas.
    • Review and analyze documents produced by opposing counsel.
    • Organize and prepare documents for production.
  • Case Management
    • Organize and maintain case files, both physical and electronic.
    • Track deadlines, court dates, and other important timelines.
    • Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
  • Document Preparation
    • Draft and review legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses.
    • Prepare witness statements, deposition summaries, and trial exhibits.
    • Organize and index documents for review and production.
  • Legal Research
    • Conduct legal research using online databases
    • Analyze case law, statutes and regulations to support legal arguments.
    • Summarize research findings for attorneys.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree, Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5+ years of relevant litigation experience.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in legal research databases and software.
