Civil Litigation Attorney- Riverside; Remote​/Hybrid

Founded in 1965, Cummings, McClorey, Davis & Acho, PLC (CMDA) is a premier, AV® rated, multi-state law firm with 45 attorneys and seven office locations. Our California office is growing and is actively seeking a civil litigation attorney with experience in defending litigation. Public entity defense litigation experience is a plus. You must be an excellent writer and effective communicator. Remote work is common in our office.

Qualifications should include the following:

• Licensed in California
• 2+ years practical civil litigation experience
• Independently handle an active caseload
• Take and defend depositions (parties, experts, etc.)
• Prepare motions for summary judgment
• Draft and argue motions before a trial court
• Excellent research and writing skills

Attorneys joining the Firm will have opportunities to work on a variety of cases and projects, as well as participate in and handle jury/bench trials in state and federal courts, depositions, motion and discovery practice, appellate practice, and be responsible for regular client communications.
