Responsibilities- Drafting motions, briefs, and memoranda of law
- Conducting legal research
- Appear at a wide range of court appearances including high-level contested motions and evidentiary hearings
- Respond to discovery requests and participate in motion practice
- Maintain responsibility for all aspects of respective contested cases, including devising and executing legal strategies
- 5+ years of experience independently handling contested motion practice
- Admission to practice law in New York; admission in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, or Connecticut is a plus
- Superior writing, research, and oral advocacy abilities
- Able to identify and resolve legal issues quickly and proficiently
- Ability to manage a heavy workload and produce a significant amount of legal work
