Remote Paralegal – US Real Estate Markets

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our remote legal team, specializing in US real estate markets with a strong focus on California and New York laws. This role involves supporting our attorneys in real estate transactions, regulatory compliance, and in-depth legal research. It is ideally suited for legal professionals with prior experience working for US-based law firms or corporate legal departments.

As a Remote Paralegal, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance and accuracy in our legal operations. Your primary duties will include monitoring California’s and other states’ affordable housing regulations, performing targeted legal research on federal and state real estate laws, and maintaining a comprehensive regulatory database. You will also be involved in pre-litigation document review, assisting with compliance matters, managing case files, and supporting risk management initiatives.

Organizational excellence and attention to legal detail will be essential to success in this position.

We seek candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in law (JD equivalent) and at least two years of legal experience—preferably with exposure to US real estate law. A solid grasp of California-specific compliance regulations, proficiency in legal research and writing, and familiarity with document review tools are essential. You should be adept at managing multiple projects under strict deadlines, possess excellent organizational skills, and demonstrate the ability to work independently.

Knowledge of affordable housing laws and prior experience with e-discovery processes will be highly valued.
