Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits is seeking an experienced alcoholic beverage regulatory attorney to join its fast‑paced, collaborative legal team as Counsel, Regulatory & Compliance. The position is based in Stamford, Connecticut; hybrid and remote work options may be considered.

• Conducting in‑depth regulatory research related to the marketing, promotion, and sale of alcoholic beverages.
• Providing legal review of marketing initiatives, advertising materials, promotions, and trade practices including coupons, sponsor ships, sweepstakes, and charitable partnerships.
• Delivering clear, timely legal guidance to Marketing and Sales teams.
• Supporting the negotiation and review of marketing, advertising, and sponsorship agreements.
• Developing and leading training programs that reinforce compliant practices across Marketing and Sales teams.
• Advising on regulatory pathways for launching in new international markets.
• Collaboration with cross‑functional teams to enable compliant and fast‑paced growth.

• Bachelor’s degree and Juris Doctorate required.
• Active license to practice law and ability to qualify as in‑house counsel in Connecticut.
• 5+ years of experience in a regulatory legal role within the alcoholic beverage industry.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and commitment.
• Excellent legal and commercial judgment and acumen.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple deadlines/priorities.
