Remote Personal Injury Associate Attorney
Base pay: $ - $ per year. Remote position.
Salary for the first 3‑6 months is $85k‑$100k, after which the role is commission‑only with on‑target earnings of $100k‑$400k+.
Ramp‑up period: $85k – $100k salary while training and onboarding.
Immediate income is generated from paralegals with existing cases. Attorneys earn 10% of net collections up to $1 M, and 15% beyond $1 M. Most attorneys collect around $3 M annually, leading to $400 K in personal income. Each attorney is supported by three paralegals. The typical caseload is about 100 active cases. This is a hands‑on, client‑facing, entrepreneurial role with high earning potential.

Job Description
- Client Consultation and Case Evaluation – Meet with clients, gather and analyze information (medical records, accident reports, witness statements), determine liability, and identify responsible parties.
- Negotiation and Settlement – Communicate with insurance companies and opposing attorneys, evaluate settlement offers, and negotiate compensation for medical expenses, property damage, lost wages, pain, and suffering.
- Documentation and Case Preparation – Prepare and draft demand letters, organize evidence, medical records, and accident reports.
- Client Communication – Maintain regular communication, educate clients about the legal process, manage expectations, and explore mediation or arbitration.
- Legal Research and Strategy – Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations and develop effective strategies.
- Collaboration and Coordination – Work closely with the legal team, medical professionals, and experts.
- Case Management – Maintain accurate case records and track important deadlines.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Aderant Total Office experience is a major plus.
- Strong understanding of personal injury laws.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple cases.
- Proficient in legal research, case‑management software, and Microsoft Office.
- Empathetic and client‑focused.
- Experience in pre‑litigation personal injury work preferred.
