OverviewLooking for a lawyer with at least 7 years of experience in construction defect litigation to join a fully remote Florida firm.

Practice AreasInsurance and liability defense, including PIP/no-fault, fraud investigations (SIU), bodily injury, uninsured motorist, homeowners/property claims, workers’ compensation, medical malpractice, and coverage disputes;
General commercial litigation, appellate advocacy, data analytics, construction law, labor & employment, corporate law, and healthcare litigation.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to inform case strategy.
- Draft motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents with precision.
- Attend hearings, depositions, and mediations, effectively representing clients.
- Manage a diverse caseload while ensuring timely and accurate case progress.
- Collaborate with clients and the legal team to develop comprehensive legal strategies.
- Ability to work with little supervision; prioritize and anticipate work needs; work well under occasional periods of pressure and short deadlines.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction defect litigation.
- Must be in good standing with the Florida Bar.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple cases.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Must be willing and able to bill.
