Associate Attorney - Burrows + Stutsman LLP; Fresno

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Associate Attorney at Burrows + Stutsman LLP in Fresno, CA, with flexibility for remote work. We are currently growing to meet our client's demand for our services. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for providing legal advice, conducting research, negotiating on behalf of clients, drafting legal documents, taking and defending depositions, and attending hearings, mediations, and trials.

Associates work hand in hand with senior attorneys and are given appropriate autonomy in their case handling while still receiving the mentorship they need to grow in their capabilities as litigators.

Burrows & Stutsman is a team of experienced civil litigators with over 50 years of combined expertise in defending clients through all stages of the litigation process. We are dedicated to providing aggressive, dynamic, and targeted defense strategies to achieve optimal outcomes for our clients in California state and Federal courts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years civil litigation experience (personal injury a plus)
• Strong research skills and proficiency in negotiation
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal
• Excellent writing skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Bar admission in California

Base salary ranges from $125,000 to $150,000+, commensurate with experience. Quarterly bonus program based on total hours billed. Health/Vision/Dental, 401(k), unlimited vacation policy.
