A law firm is seeking an Insurance Defense Attorney to serve the San Antonio area. The role offers the flexibility of full-time remote work or an office environment
. The attorney will join a team specializing in trucking accident litigation
, representing transportation companies in various litigation aspects.

Duties

Handle cases from inception to resolution.

Prepare legal pleadings, motions, statements, and trial briefs.

Negotiate settlements and collaborate with clients and paralegals.

Analyze written discovery, depositions, and medical records.

Assess claim values to determine risk exposure.

Requirements

3-6 years of experience in auto defense litigation or plaintiff's personal injury.

Ability to work independently or as part of a team with strong attention to detail.

Proficient in organizing and prioritizing workload using an electronic diary.

Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills.

Ability to identify risks and understand applicable ethical duties.

Effective client and customer negotiation skills.

Education

Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

Licensed to practice law in Texas.

Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in legal research and writing.
Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
