This is a remote position. We are currently looking for freelance translators/post-editors (MTPE).
Language combinations- English (US) to Swahili (SW)
- Human Resources, Healthcare, Technical - specific knowledge ==> US market
- Have obtained a degree in translation, linguistics or language studies or an equivalent degree that includes significant translation training from a recognized institution of higher education.
- Have obtained a degree in any other field from a recognized institution of higher education and has the equivalent of two years of full-time professional experience in translating.
- Have the equivalent of five years of full-time professional experience in translating.
- CAT experience.
- Experience in post-editing machine translation.
- Knowledge of MT and LLM technologies.
- CAT experience (memo
Q).
- Post-editing Quality: fluency, naturalness, accuracy, and coherence.
- RAW MT output evaluation: post-editing length and time, error type identification and similar.
