Position Overview
This is a remote position. We are currently looking for freelance translators/post-editors (MTPE).
Language Combinations- English (US) to Karen (KAR)
- Human Resources, Healthcare, Technical – specific knowledge for US market
Applicants must meet at least one of the following criteria:
- Degree in translation, linguistics or language studies, or equivalent, with significant translation training from a recognized institution of higher education
- Degree in any other field from a recognized institution, with equivalent of two years full-time professional experience in translating
- Equivalent of five years full-time professional experience in translating
- CAT experience
- Experience in post-editing machine translation
- Knowledge of MT and LLM technologies
- CAT experience (memo
Q)
Experience in evaluating post-edited material, including:
- Post-editing quality: fluency, naturalness, accuracy, and coherence
- RAW MT output evaluation: post-editing length and time, error type identification, and similar
